I had been struggling with the “About” page that I’ve been yearning to have on my website. I wanted to tell a story, my story about why my practice as a professional, as a wife, as a human is so important to me.

I first sent Marisa my two versions of my page so she had a sense for who I was and what I wanted to share. Marisa and I then had an hour call where she helped me get to the heart of my story. After lots of tough moments of questioning my own writing I sent her my draft.

Today I opened up the edits and the nearly final copy. Seeing the formatting alone made me joyful, but then as I read the words I couldn’t help but cry.
